Kimberly Greenwell
, Host of My Southern Home TV and Home Education Expert, combines her unmatched media sales savvy with a passion for seeing aspirational homes come to life. With eleven seasons under her belt, Kimberly educates homebuyers on topics of renovation and building from the ground up while introducing viewers to trusted professionals that can help with properly creating a dream home including architects, contractors, realtors, interior designers, and more.
Her background in media began in high school, where Kimberly competed nationally in marketing competitions. Shortly after, she fell in love with her first home, My Old Kentucky Home, where she worked as a Southern Belle tour guide during college. Earning a degree in broadcasting landed her a job with a local TV station, WAVE 3, where she worked for seven years as an advertising account executive. After many years spent learning the many facets of different outlets in the media world, Kimberly created her own consulting firm, KAG Media Consulting. Her first account, BIA of Greater Louisville, is where her love of all facets of homebuilding and remodeling grew, which led to her producing and hosting the TV show, Your Kentuckiana Home before starting her own show, My Southern Home.
As an advocate for the homebuilding industry, Kimberly also provides courses through My Southern Home University and educational episodes on her podcast, My Southern Home with Kimberly Greenwell, in hopes to prevent DIY renovation mess-ups.
Kimberly is a member of the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee and the BIA of Greater Louisville, through which she received the Best New Concept in Marketing President’s Award. In her free time, she loves playing with her puppy, Bailey, and partnering with charity organizations such as Habitat for Humanity to make homeownership attainable for underprivileged families, ultimately impacting future generations.
